About Me

Greg has directed an indie feature film, an animation/live-action TV pilot, written novels, songs, stories, poetry and articles. As an entrepreneur he’s managed diverse projects from an online stock market trading platform to creating games to spread kindness. He’s also worked as a project management consultant in the tech industry, is a TEDx speaker and in 2022 I was honored by the Prime Minister of India for his “…work in visual media and using it to create a better world…”

What Inspired You to Explore STEM?

I was obsessed with science and math as a young man. At 13 I designed a car for the blind which almost 50 years ago was quite similar to self-driving vehicles of today. I also designed a two person submarine and actually create a working 1/20 size model. I’ve always seen science and technology as having the ability to cure the ills of the world.

Briefly share what you do as part of your job

As the founder of the Planet Earthlings project I work on everything from designing and prototyping games to running the business. I manage the people who work with me, give them direction and try to inspire them. Tools include design in Adobe Suite, Unity3D for game dev and a wide variety of business applications.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your STEM Career?

I love creating things to try and make the world a better place. This has been supported by a multiple of skills from math, computer programming and analytical thinking.

What is a STEM fact about your field?

Game development is in my view the most fun you can have using advanced technology. We integrate high tech, advanced design with psychology, education and lots of play!
