Our Why
For every student that gains access to STEM education, there’s at least one more who doesn’t, especially in high-needs schools. Cost, teacher training, and lack of curriculum all contribute to lack of STEM education in high-needs schools.
Students in schools with higher poverty rates are significantly less likely to have access to high-quality STEM classes, lab equipment, or extracurriculars.
In many underserved communities, as few as 1 in 4 students have consistent access to hands-on, inquiry-based STEM learning.

September 2017 - Inspiring Ideas
We proudly launched our flagship STEM program, our first Science & Engineering Fair, aiming to inspire young minds and nurture their passion for science, technology, engineering, and math.

September 2020 - Diverse STEM Stories
During COVID-19, we launched our Diverse STEM Stories program. The Diverse STEM Stories program aims to address critical gaps in STEM education by connecting students virtually with diverse role models from various STEM fields. The program features engaging discussions and open Q&A sessions where students can hear firsthand experiences, challenges, and successes from these professionals. By showcasing a wide range of backgrounds and career paths, the program helps break down stereotypes, fosters a sense of belonging, and inspires students to see themselves in STEM careers.

September 2022 - Curriculum Kits
In 2022, hands-on STEM Curriculum Kits were developed to equip students with essential STEM skills through engaging activities that lead to successful Science & Engineering Fair projects. We provide classrooms with all necessary materials, lessons, assessments, and teacher professional development to ensure effective implementation of the STEM activities. These STEM learning kits complement the Diverse STEM Stories program, allowing students to explore STEM further through critical thinking and inquisitive learning.

May 2024 - New Partnerships
We proudly established partnerships with several corporations, enhancing resources available for our programs and increasing sponsorship opportunities.
September 2025 - Workforce Pathways
Workforce Pathways, which include experiential learning through field trips and job shadowing at sites in STEM industries. This program is designed to expand access to high-quality STEM career exploration and mentorship opportunities for students in grades 11-12. Through partnerships with local companies and STEM professionals, the program cultivates early interest, builds foundational skills, and strengthens workforce readiness through real-world learning experiences.
