Dr. Sanyogita Shamsunder is Chief Technology Officer at GeoLinks, where she leads the company’s technology strategy, network innovation, and product development. With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of wireless systems and cloud infrastructure, she brings a bold vision and a proven ability to scale transformative technologies from concept to commercial success.

Dr. Shamsunder has held senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most innovative technology and telecommunications companies. At Verizon, she was instrumental in launching the company’s nationwide 5G network and led critical initiatives in product development, spectrum strategy, and network planning. At Google Cloud, she led the global edge networking team, aligning infrastructure design with business priorities to serve billions of users. Most recently, she oversaw operations and innovation at NextNav, a leader in next-generation geolocation services.

She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia, an MBA with honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. from SUNY Stony Brook, and a B.E. from Osmania University. Dr. Shamsunder is on the Consumer Technology Association Foundation board and NTIA’s Spectrum Advisory Committee (CSMAC). She served on the Technical Advisory Boards of MaxLinear and American Tower and on the boards of Manavi, NYIT, and Rutgers ECE. She is also an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage technology startups.
