Leslie has over 10 years of teaching experience, which includes 7 years of STEM education in Pre-K through grade 8. She enjoys writing, and was able to combine her education and STEM backgrounds to develop and write STEM curricula for use all over the world, including the UK, China, and Malaysia. She also has been able to share her passion for STEM, by providing professional development to teachers, administrators, and education professionals to help improve STEM awareness and incorporation within the classroom

Valerie Morris is a life-long learner who loves to soak up new information! She is a digital marketing strategist who believes that you can be successful in marketing AND have balance in life.

Program Manager

Hope holds a BA in Spanish and Biology from the University of Vermont and a M.Ed. in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. After an early career in reproductive endocrinology, she transitioned to teaching high school science and then Spanish for 10 years. Hope has traveled extensively in Europe, as well as Central and South America, learning the languages and cultures of those regions. She is passionate about international education, travel and service, and deepening her connections with people around the world.

Web, Integration, and Data Manager

Avery is attending Colorado Mesa University in the fall of 2021 to pursue her Biology degree. Her future plans are to be a large animal vet. As a future STEM major, she strives to show young girls/women that they can be successful in a male-dominated field

Wendy Wempe

As a mother, research scientist, and educator, Wendy is driven to the core to level the Science & Engineering Fair playing field. Having dedicated 20+ years to STEM research, teaching, and mentorship, she recently ditched her career as a geophysics research professor to pursue this passion.
