Valériane is a French Developer Evangelist at Twilio. Her role is to serve and help the developers community and to share what she knows with peers. Valériane also is involved in helping inclusivity and integration of women in tech in Europe trough the Duchess association. When not behind a computer, Valériane loves to play escape games and build with legos and electronics

What inspired you to explore STEM when you were young?

I always admired the image of the technical experts in TV shows and pictures and was absolutely fascinated by space and how infinity could even be.

What do you enjoy most about what you do in your STEM career?

Being in the party side of the job where i got to meet many people and share what I know with the world.

What is an interesting fact you would like to share with students about your STEM field?

Did you knew one equals two for a computer? Computers don’t start counting at one, they always start at zero. So one actually means two because it will be the second item !
