He is passionate about building strong strategic partnerships and plans for goal-setting, creating engaging environments for team building, and practical action plans for goal attainment, with a background in job skills, sales, and vocational training. Having spent tens of thousands of hours providing coaching, classroom instruction, and in-service training, he is an effective communicator that focuses on developing others—starting his career in social services, workforce, and economic development. He then spent the last ten years in healthcare sales in biotechnology, medical devices, orthopedics, ortho-biologics, sports medicine, and pharmaceuticals, with at least seven consecutive years of double-digit sales growth in existing and new territories.
Originally from the midwest, he now calls Northern California home. He has been a certified athletic coach for organizations such as AAU, CYO, Pleasanton Unified School District, and YMCA in his spare time. He has also been a classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement. He is currently an Advisory Board Member for TokuOra, Founding Member and Membership & Engagement Committee Member of the San Francisco Chapter of the Private Directors Association, and Founding Board Member and Vice President of the board for STEM Generation. He believes that precision medicine can help improve clinical outcomes and that the diversity of thought helps drive innovation and collaboration. Where critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication is the best ways to address complex issues for finding solutions.
Having worked directly and indirectly with companies of all sizes throughout his career, from startups, and small businesses to fortune 500 organizations like Bosch, Coca-Cola, and Whirlpool, to help fill entry-level positions and create career ladders, pathways, and future growth opportunities. He is excited to take his knowledge, skills, abilities, and resources to the next level. By helping the companies of tomorrow, build, grow and scale effectively today. Simply because he understands “that seeing is believing, and doing is achieving because what gets measured gets done, and the best-laid plans without consistent action are destined to fail.”
