Leslie Marshall

Executive Director

Leslie brings over a decade of experience in education, including seven years specializing in STEM instruction for students in Pre-K through eighth grade. She holds a B.S. in Human Development, Counseling, and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island, a M.Ed. from DePaul University, and a M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology with a baccalaureate in Technology from Western Illinois University.
Leslie combines her expertise in education and STEM to develop high-quality, STEM curricula. Throughout her career, she has provided professional development for educators and administrators, promoting the integration of STEM in classrooms and supporting broader educational equity and innovation initiatives.

Hope Mukai

Program Manager

Hope holds a BA in Spanish and Biology from the University of Vermont and a M.Ed. in Integrated Teaching through the Arts from Lesley University. After an early career in reproductive endocrinology, she transitioned to teaching high school science and Spanish for 10 years. Hope has traveled extensively in Europe and Central and South America, learning the languages and cultures of those regions. She is passionate about international education, travel and service to deepen her connections with people around the world.

Avery Ward

Assistant Executive Director

Avery earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado Mesa University and currently works as a medical assistant, where she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. With four years of experience working with STEM Generation, Avery has also contributed to increasing access to STEM education and empowering underrepresented students in science and technology. This blend of clinical and community-focused experience is a key part of her preparation to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. Outside of the professional setting, Avery has a lifelong passion for horses and enjoys spending time with them outside of work.

families, and business owners navigate complex financial decisions. With over 15 years of experience, she is dedicated to making financial planning both accessible and empowering. Committed to giving back, Madison actively supports initiatives that uplift women, youth, and underserved communities. Madison is passionate about financial literacy, education, and community engagement.
